Maylands Murder Charge
 
Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man after their investigation into a death at a residence in Maylands on Wednesday 1 September 2021.
 
Just before 8:40pm on Wednesday, police were called to an address on Guildford Road and located the 65-year-old deceased man. Yesterday, Sunday 5 September, a 60-year-old man from Midland was arrested and his residence searched.
 
The man has been charged with one count of Murder. He was refused bail and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Monday 6 September 2021.
 
Detectives would like to speak with anyone who was in the vicinity of Guilford Road and Peninsula Road on Tuesday 24 August 2021 between 6:30am and 10:30am or anyone who has mobile phone or dashcam footage from around those times is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
